Implant Restorations

If your smile is missing one or more teeth, you may have suffered with decreased self-confidence, limited chewing ability, dietary problems, and/or speech issues. At Carolina Dental Group, you can reclaim a full, dependable smile that looks and feels much like nature intended. Dental implants are prosthetic teeth anchored into the socket left by a missing tooth. Dr. Kevin Stoller and Dr. Scott Stoller work with talented prosthodontists and oral surgeons for implant post placement. Then, in their Greenville dental office, they restore the implants with aesthetic crowns.

Dental implants can replace one or more teeth or anchor dentures, partials, or bridgework. Call Carolina Dental Group today to schedule your consultation. Patients with good oral heath and sufficient bone tissue are good candidates for dental implants.

Root Canals

When a tooth incurs irreparable damage to the pulp, or nerve, inside its canals, a root canal may be the only option to save the tooth from extraction. Modern root canal therapy utilizes anesthesia and technology for a comfortable experience. In fact, many Carolina Dental Group patients sleep through the procedure!

Dr. Stoller will gently extract the damaged pulp from within the root's canal. A manmade replacement filling will then be inserted into the canal. Usually, a crown finishes off the restored tooth.

If you have been told you need an extraction or root canal, you deserve a second opinion. Call Carolina Dental Group to schedule a consultation.

Oral Surgery

As a patient of Carolina Dental Group, in most cases you won't need to see a specialist for common oral surgeries, such as periodontal therapy, cosmetic gum lifts, frenectomies or biopsies. Dr. Kevin Stoller and Dr. Scott Stoller use the soft tissue laser for minimally invasive oral surgery and periodontal procedures.

To schedule a visit, call Carolina Dental Group today! We serve patients in the upstate South Carolina area.

Periodontal Therapy

The leading cause of tooth loss in American adults, gum disease (a.k.a. periodontal disease) is a stealthy villain that often goes undetected. Mild symptoms of early gum disease include slight swelling or redness in the gums and bleeding after tooth brushing. Left untreated, periodontal disease can worsen, causing tooth loosening and loss, gum recession and deterioration, and even a heightened risk for stroke, heart attack, and low-birth-weight babies.

At Carolina Dental Group, you'll receive a thorough oral exam at your initial appointment and all checkups. If our hygienist finds signs of gum disease, we will offer therapies and preventive measures to nip the condition in the bud and prevent recurrence. Sometimes scaling, root planing, and Arestin antibiotic therapy are sufficient. Other cases require laser therapy to remove diseased tissue so that new, healthy gum tissue will generate.

If your gums are tender, red, swollen, or bleed after you brush your teeth, call Carolina Dental Group to schedule an exam with Dr. Kevin Stoller or Dr. Scott Stoller.
